Alec Beaton
for MI GOP
Youth Vice Chair
Convention Date - TBD
About Me
My name is Alec Beaton, and I am running for the Michigan Republican Youth Vice Chair position. I'm hoping to get your support in this effort.
I have been passionate about conservative values since I was 13, inspired by the 2015-2016 debates between President Trump and other candidates. By 16, I was actively involved with the local GOP alongside my high school friends, participating in campaign efforts, event tabling, and other grassroots activism.
At 20, I became a Precinct Delegate, and by 21, I was honored to serve as the Youth Chair of my local GOP. In this role, I collaborated with Turning Point USA (TPUSA) to establish a chapter at my college, SC4, and supported the creation of additional chapters at Marysville High School, Macomb Community College, and Oakland University. I also served as the District 9 Youth Captain under Rylee Linting.
My work extends beyond chapters. I’ve participated in events like TPUSA’s AmFest and SAS, CPAC, YALCon, and others, building connections with hundreds of Gen-Z activists. These efforts led to initiatives such as rallying over 20 youth attendees at the Macomb County Lincoln Day Dinner in June and organizing impactful events like the Ismael Hernandez Speaker’s Event, which drew over 40 youth participants. Additionally, I’ve supported young GOP candidates for state and local offices, including Josh Schriver, Jacky Eubanks, and Chad Moore.
Now, I aim to bring these efforts to the state level. Michigan’s colleges and communities can greatly benefit from a unified, active youth movement.
